Anything in the right amount is helpful. As the old adage goes, “Pressure Makes diamonds.” Be sure the pressure around you at the right level to become the diamond that you are.
Maintaining Finesse at Work
Your job takes up a huge part of your life and your day. Hence, it is not surprising that you get most of the pressure here. Nonetheless, if you see all the pressure at work as motivation, not as a hindrance to your success, then, you’ll never be stressed at all.
If you have internal conflict at work, the best way to handle this is to keep things professional. Do not take everything personally, so you can shove off the drama instantly. Your workmates undermine you? Take this as a challenge to make yourself better and to succeed. If you want to standout—be yourself. Do not pretend to be someone else to please your bosses and your colleagues. Remember that your best asset is—you. You are swamped with tasks and deadlines? Make sure to organize and rank your tasks according to their value. Prioritize the urgent ones. Finish one task at a time.

Charm and Beauty at Home
Our home is a haven. It is a nest we fly back into after all the chaos of the world, but sometimes, we cannot get peace of mind even here. What is the main cause? You are trying to be the best daughter, the ideal sister, the perfect wife, the cool and awesome mother. If you look at these, they aren’t really that bad, and most importantly—they should not bring you unwanted stress. How can you do that?
As what I have mentioned earlier, be who you are. You shine brightest when you are yourself without any pretense. Besides, these people are your family, they’ll love you just the way you are. For unreasonable expectations, communicate to them openly to set the right expectations. For instance, talk to your husband of you mutual hope for your marriage. Connect with your parents and siblings on how you can be a better member of the family.
Elegance, Poise and Goodness
Your expectations of yourself is the hardest to meet, but let’s turn this lemon to lemonade—you just want to be the best version of yourself. Start by ensuring that you are in proper shape physically, emotionally and mentally. Do not let stress get into you. Take occasional breaks. Remind yourself that it is when you cleared your mind and you re-energized your body can you perform efficiently. Dress-up every working day to add confidence. Speak out and be heard. Stand out by being yourself.
We get pressured by the things we care about. We are passionate about our jobs because we do not want to lose it, or we are working extra hard to get promoted. We love our family, so we strive hard to give them the best. Most of all, we want to please ourselves. Just keep in mind to achieve all these with beauty and—grace under pressure.
