1. BAKING SODA
In addition to whitening your teeth and spicing up your cookies, baking soda has been proven effective in clearing and treating sunburn. Though the result might come a bit slow, but it's guaranteed to give you a smooth and even skin in the long run.

HOW TO USE - with the help of cold water, form a paste with baking soda and dab a little of the compressed baking soda on the affected area. Leave for fifteen minutes. Wash and pat dry. Repeat twice in a week.
You can also soak baking soda in bathing water.
2. ALOE VERA
When applied consistently, aloe vera gel may just be what you need as it not only moisturizes your skin and reduces inflammation but potently alleviates visible sunburn within days of application.

HOW TO USE - Spread the natural extracted gel from the inside of aloe vera thinly on the affected area and leave to settle overnight. Wash off the following morning and pat dry. Repeat three times in a week for fast result.
3. CIDER VINEGAR
After an apple is crushed, the juice that remains is known as cider vinegar.
At a well diluted concentration, the acetic acid in vinegar has been proven to lessen inflammation and itching.

HOW TO USE.
Dip a clean washcloth in a well diluted concentration of acid vinegar, wringle out and dab on the affected area.
Another method is to measure and pour a cup of cider vinegar into your bathing water right before bath.
Sunburn has been known to be dehydrating, hence, it is important to stay hydrated by drinking lots of fluid and staying out of the sun until completely healed.
